Fujifilm X20 Now Available for Pre-Order
Fujifilm has announced the X20 digital camera at CES 2013. Improving on the highly-acclaimed X10, the X20 continues Fujifilm's focus on the retro look and feel of its X series. Highlights of the X20 include die-cast magnesium body construction, a 12 megapixel 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II image sensor, and a Fujinon 20-112mm f/2-2.8 zoom lens.
The X20 comes in black and silver along with an advanced optical viewfinder, 2.8-inch 460k-dot LCD display, and an intelligent hybrid AF system. Built in phase detection on the X20 achieves the world's fastest AF speed in its class at only 0.06 seconds. A seven diaphragm blade system means perfect soft bokeh in every shot.
The X20 surpasses its predecessor with 30 percent better noise reduction and 20 percent higher image resolution. These improvements are thanks to its new X-Trans CMOS II image sensor and the advanced signal processing of the EXR Processor II. The Fujinon f/2-2.8 4x manual zoom lens has an HT-EBC coating and is made up of 11 glass elements in 9 groups, with an image stabilization mechanism that shifts five lens elements to prevent motion blur.
