Canon is offering up to $500 in instant rebates on select Canon DSLRs and lens bundles. You can save $100 on the Canon EOS 6D, or up to $500 when bundled with select Canon lenses. The popular EOS 5D Mark III body is only $3,299 after $200 in instant savings, and you can save up to $500 on the Canon EOS 60D, or EOS 7D DSLRs.

Canon Instant Rebates

Canon is also offering up to $200 off on the EOS Rebel T3, T4i and T3i. You can take advantage of these instant rebates through B&H Photo. It is unknown how long these instant rebates will remain in effect, so you should act quickly.

Canon Announces 200-400mm f/4 Telezoom Lens

Canon has added the EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x to its high-performance L-series of lenses. The lens is geared towards professional sports and wildlife photographers who are looking for versatile telephoto.

The EF 200-400 f/4L features an internal 1.4x extender which provides an extended focal length of 280mm to 560mm. The lens includes both fluorite and Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) lens elements, Super Spectra Coating for reduced ghosting and flare, and a ring-type Ultrasonic Motor for silent auto-focusing.

Canon Sends Unique Invites to March 22 Event

Canon has officially sent invites to its March 22, 2013 product announcement. The company is expected to unveil the EOS 70D digital SLR along with a new PowerShot camera. What's interesting about the invites themselves is how the message was delivered.

Canon invite projector pen

Canon-branded boxes with a conventional paper invite as well as special pens were distributed. The pens themselves have the label IXUS / PowerShot and contain a miniature projector. Shining the back of the pen on a dark wall reveals a secret message.
