Samsung's $500 Smart EX2F Camera Now Available

Samsung has announced the EX2F SMART camera is now available in stores and through online Samsung retailers. The affordable EX2F compact camera features a 3-inch AMOLED display, a 12.4-megapixel CMOS sensor and a f/1.4-2.7 (24-79mm) lens. The camera's Dual Image Stabilization ensures your 12.4MP pictures won't come out burred or distorted, and its f/1.4 24mm wide-angle lens, with 11 elements in nine groups, promises better image quality and zoom ratio. The EX2F can also record 1080p Full HD at 30 frames per second.

Other EX2F features include: Dual Capture for snapping still pictures while recording full HD video, and Wireless Smart Camera Technology for quick cloud storage and easy photo sharing via social networking sites such as Facebook or Picasa. Lecia Announces V-Lux 4 Compact Camera for Wildlife and Sports Enthusiast

Lecia has announced the V-Lux 4 digital compact camera with constant F2.8 lens and high-resolution electronic viewfinder. Lecia promises the constant maximum aperture of f2.8 makes it possible to capture "pin-sharp images at greater distances even under unfavorable lighting conditions." The camera's maximum ISO sensitivity of 6400 and 12-megapixel CMOS sensor also ensures better quality images in extreme photographic situations, including unfavorable lighting conditions.

Fujifilm Officially Announces Pocket-Sized XF1

Fujifilm has officially announced the XF1 pocket-sized digital camera, not the "XP1" like we originally reported. The XF1 joins the X-E1 as the newest addition to Fuji's retro-looking X-series lineup. The compact camera features a retro body, a newly-developed f/1.8 FUJINON lens with a manual 4× optical zoom, 2/3-inch EXR-CMOS sensor and EXR Processor.

Fuji promises the XF1 and f/1.8 lens delivers stunning results in low light, and its EXR-CMOS sensor and EXR processor offers fast Auto Focus speeds even in dark scenes. The XF1 also features Optical Image Stabilization, full manual controls, a 3.0-inch/460K dot premium clear LCD monitor with tempered glass for scratch protection, and Full HD movie recording.

Pre-Order the Canon EOS 6D

Canon has announced the EOS 6D for "serious photography enthusiasts". According to Canon, the EOS 6D is the "world's lightest DSLR to feature a full-frame CMOS sensor." The 6D employs an 11-point autofocus system, and is powered by a DIGIC 5+ image processor. The 6D is also Canon's first EOS model to include GPS and Wi-Fi, for location tagging or importing photos to other devices.

Panasonic Lumix GH3 Video Accidently Leaked?

A video for Panasonic's new micro four thirds camera, the Lumix GH3, was uploaded and quickly removed from the company's official YouTube page on Friday. Engadget got a look at the video before it was pulled.

According to Engadget, the video revealed a few key specs like a 16-megapixel sensor and a new version of Panny's Venus Engine processor. The Lumix GH3 features a splash- and dust-proof magnesium alloy build, and a a flip-out LCD, which according to Engadget, "looks much the same as the GH2's".

Nikon has announced the long-awaited D600 full frame camera. The D600 is the most compact, lightweight DSLR on the market. It features a newly developed 24.3 MP FX-format CMOS sensor, an ultra-fast EXPEED 3 image processor, noise-free shooting from ISO 100 to 6400 (expandable down to 50 and up to 25,600 for extreme lighting situation) and 5.5 fps of continuous shooting.

Online retailers are accepting pre-orders for the previously leaked Sony NEX-VG30 camcorder with Sony 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 zoom lens. The full-frame interchangeable lens camcorder can capture high-resolution, 16MP RAW and JPEG still photos at 6fps, and is able to shoot cinematic video with a shallow depth of field and clear low-noise. Sony Launches World’s First Full-Frame Compact Digital Camera [Cyber-shot RX1]

Sony has officially announced the compact Cyber-shot RX1 camera with 35mm full-frame image sensor and wide aperture f/2 lens. The RX1 brings DSLR quality imaging technology to the compact camera world. As rumored, the RX1 can capture 24MP JPEG or RAW stills and shoot Full HD 1080p video at 24 frames per second. It features a fixed Carl Zeiss f/2.0 lens with 9 iris blades, for shallow depth of field with attractive bokeh. The lens is also coated to reduce ghost and flare.

The high speed AF and advanced BIONZ processor allows for fast 0.13 second autofocus, and the camera's ISO range of 100 – 25600 allows the camera to perform in near-dark conditions without a flash.
