Casio Europe GmbH and its parent company, Casio Computer Co., Ltd has announced three entry-level compact cameras: The EX-N5, EX-N50 and the EX-ZS30. Both the EX-N5 and EX-N50 feature a 16.1 MP CCD sensor, 26-156mm equivalent optical zoom lens, a 2.7" LCD screen and several Art Shot filters. The only difference between the two models is the look and feel.
The EX-N5 sports a two–tone silver ring around the lens as the "centerpiece of the whole design," according to the press release. It also features a transparent coating to give it a "high–quality look". The EX-N5 will be available in black, silver, white, and red. Pricing has not been confirmed.
The EX-N50 is textured with a pinstripe pattern and finished with a pearly topcoat to create an "elegant impression". The EX-N50 will be available in silver, blue and red. Pricing has not been confirmed.
