Pre-orders are now being accepted for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R and DSC-RX100 II digital cameras. The DSC-RX1R is equipped with a 24.3MP effective 35mm full-frame sensor, and BIONZ image processor which enables it to produce high resolution still images and full HD 1080p video. The DSC-RX1R is also capable of 5 fps highspeed continuous shooting and 14-bit RAW image data recording. The compact camera includes a fixed Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2 lens, , a large 3.0" 1,229k-dot Xtra Fine LCD monitor, and no optical low-pass filter for higher resolution, detail, and image sharpness.
The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100M II digital camera ships with a 20.2MP Exmor R Sensor with backside-illuminated technology for better image clarity and quality in low-light situations. Its BIONZ image processor enables full-resolution continuous shooting up to 10 fps, and a quick autofocus speed of just 0.13 seconds. The built-in Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 10.4-37.1mm f/1.8-4.9 lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 28-100mm. The compact camera also features a large 3.0" 1,229k-dot Xtra Fine LCD monitor, built-In wireless and NFC connectivity, and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization for reducing camera shake.
